Open Mic Monday at the Ritz

It's the third annual Open Mic Monday competition at the Historic Ritz Theatre returning September 16th at 7 PM and then every third Monday through December. A final event will be held on January 20, 2020 

This year, EACH monthly winner gets $50 and a paid gig at the 2020 Ida Cox Music Series. They also get to return in January 2020 for a winners' showcase.

Contestants are limited to 2 songs lasting not longer than 10 minutes. We will accept the first 10 contestants ONLY. You can sign up at the door or via email at ritztheatretoccoa@gmail.com.

Each month will focus on a different musical category.

September 2019: Vocals only (The Voice). Guitar allowed or music on a jump drive.
October 2019: Bluegrass.
November 2019: Singer/Songwriter (original compositions only).
December 2019: Battle of the Bands.
January 20, 2020: Winners' Showcase (no competition).
