2018 Ida Cox Music Series Featuring Swingin' Saddle Cats

Named after the legendary "Uncrowned Queen of Blues" and Toccoan native, the Ida Cox Music Series celebrates the best that Toccoa has to offer: A love of music, a celebration of diversity, and a whole lot of talent.

The 2018 Ida Cox Music Series takes place every Saturday in June, July, and August, beginning at 7pm. Each Saturday features a different artist, beer, wine, and food served on the street, and much more.

Swingin' Saddle Cats was born after a road tour through the Midwest US by Back In The Saddle. In the van, the members of Back In The Saddle started talking about their love of Rockabilly and Classic Country Western Music. That led to singing the songs while we rolled down the road, which led to some rehearsals and a first gig. Voila, Swingin' Saddle Cats! Berné Poliakoff - Vocals / Guitar, Gwen Hughes - Vocals, Micah Cadwell - Lead Guitar, Tim Higgins - Rhythm Guitar / Fiddle / Vocals, Mike Hinton - Drums. The band is also joined on occasion by some of the finest players in Atlanta.
